Description
This lot features a pair of Märklin HO scale model train sets, specifically a digital gas turbine train and its matching passenger car expansion set.
The first component is a Märklin 37606 Digital HO Scale Gasturbinen-Triebzug Baureihe 602. This set represents the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) Class 602 gas turbine train and consists of two powered end units and two intermediate cars. The units are finished in the classic Trans Europ Express (TEE) burgundy and cream livery. The model is equipped with an mfx digital decoder and factory-installed sound functions, as indicated by the symbols on the gray manufacturer box. Construction involves a combination of die-cast metal and plastic components.
The second component is a Märklin 43116 HO Scale Schnellzugwagen-Set. This expansion set is composed of three passenger cars designed to complement the Class 602 gas turbine train. The coaches match the burgundy and cream livery of the primary train set. These cars are constructed of plastic with metal chassis and wheel sets.
Both sets are presented in their original factory boxes with foam protective inserts.
