Description
This is a vintage Lionel O-gauge model train outfit, identified as Outfit No. 2207W. The set features a Santa Fe F3 diesel A-B-A locomotive combination in the silver and red Warbonnet livery. The locomotives consist of a No. 2353P powered A-unit equipped with dual motors, Magne-Traction, and an operating horn; a No. 2353T non-powered dummy A-unit; and a No. 2343C non-powered B-unit. Rolling stock included in this set comprises a No. 3484 Pennsylvania operating boxcar in a maroon finish with a blue interior figure, a No. 6462 New York Central gondola in black with six wooden barrels, a No. 6415 Sunoco triple-dome tank car in silver, and a No. 6417 Pennsylvania N5c caboose in maroon. The units feature die-cast metal frames and trucks with plastic shells and bodies. Markings include Santa Fe, Built by Lionel GM, and respective road numbers. Documentation and accessories include an instruction sheet for the twin diesel locomotives, an assembly and operation manual, a Lionel accessories booklet, a maintenance sheet for lubrication, a list of approved service stations, and a full, uncut sheet of miniature billboards featuring advertisements for Plymouth, Wrigley’s Spearmint, Sunsweet, Heinz Beans, Frigidaire, Baby Ruth, Zerex, and Sunoco. The set is accompanied by its original master outfit box, which displays a contemporary price stamp of $70.00, and individual component boxes for all locomotive units and freight cars, along with a box for a No. UCS remote control track set.
