Description
A set of M.T.H. (Mike’s Train House) Electric Trains from The Millennium Series featuring a New York Central J1e Hudson Steam Locomotive and a group of Madison-style passenger cars. The collection consists of a motorized 4-6-4 steam locomotive and tender, along with seven passenger cars. The items are constructed from die-cast metal with an 18K gold-plated finish and platinum-rhodium plated highlights.
The locomotive features cab number 2000 and includes a Proto-Sound digital sound and train control system by QSI, ProtoSmoke system, precision Pittman flywheel-equipped motor, firebox glow, and lighted cab interior with engineer and fireman figures. The accompanying tender features a simulated coal load and New York Central lettering.
The seven passenger cars are 70-foot Madison-style cars including:
– Three Coaches named J. Lionel Cowen, Harry C. Ives, and Louis Marx.
– One Observation car named A.C. Gilbert.
– One Baggage car marked Railway Express Agency 2000.
– One Combine car (United States Mail Railway Post Office) named Jerome M. Williams.
– One Diner car named Robert E. Weaver.
All components are designed for O-Gauge track and operate on O-42 curves. Markings include the M.T.H. Electric Trains logo, The Millennium Series branding, and the specific car names and road numbers mentioned. Original packaging includes item numbers 20-3040-1, 20-4029, and 20-4129.
