Description
This set consists of a Lionel No. 2332 Pennsylvania Railroad GG1 electric locomotive and three illuminated passenger cars. The locomotive features a die-cast metal body finished in dark Brunswick Green with five gold-colored pinstripes and is marked 2332 and PENNSYLVANIA. It is equipped with dual metal pantographs and metal trucks. The passenger car assortment includes two No. 6442 Pullman cars and one No. 6443 Observation car. The cars are constructed with metal bodies on metal chassis and trucks, finished in Tuscan red with white-painted window frames and doors. The Pullman cars are marked 6442 and PULLMAN, while the observation car is marked 6443 and OBSERVATION and features an open rear platform with silver-toned railing.
The set is accompanied by original packaging. The passenger cars include two orange and blue Lionel boxes for the No. 6442 Pullman cars and one orange and blue Lionel box for the No. 6443 Observation car, the latter featuring the TMA American Toys logo. The locomotive is accompanied by a plain corrugated brown cardboard box marked NO. 2332 and MADE IN U. S. OF AMERICA on the sides.
