Description
A six-unit Roco model train set representing the ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) Class 4010 Transalpin electric multiple unit (EMU). This HO scale set consists of one powered locomotive unit equipped with a roof-mounted red pantograph and five passenger coaches. One of the coaches is a dining car prominently marked with the text SPEISEWAGEN • VOITURE-RESTAURANT. The models are constructed with plastic bodies over die-cast metal chassis components and feature metal wheelsets.
The units are finished in a characteristic blue and cream livery. Visible markings on the coaches include class designations 1 and 2 and the winged ÖBB logo. The set is housed in two original Roco Exclusive blue factory boxes, each containing white styrofoam and plastic protective inserts. One box includes a small sealed plastic bag containing additional detailing parts. The box exteriors feature the Roco diamond cross logo, stylized Roco script, and the TRANSALPIN name in a lined block font.
