Description
A Märklin Premium Digital Starter Set, model number 29848, in HO scale. This comprehensive set features two primary train consists based on North American prototypes. The first is led by a Union Pacific Big Boy steam locomotive with a 4-8-8-4 wheel configuration, finished in black with silver accents, bearing road number 4015 on the cab and Union Pacific on the tender. The second consist is led by a Santa Fe diesel locomotive A-B unit set in the classic red, silver, and yellow Warbonnet livery. The rolling stock comprises a collection of silver Santa Fe passenger and baggage cars and a group of eight diverse freight cars with liveries for Western Pacific, Santa Fe, Rio Grande, Rutland, Burlington, Baltimore & Ohio, and New York Central, along with a yellow Union Pacific caboose. The set includes a large assortment of Märklin C-Track with integrated roadbed, including straight sections, curved sections, and turnout switches. Power and control are provided by a Märklin 6021 digital control unit and a matching transformer. Materials include die-cast metal and high-quality plastic.
