Description
This is a complete Märklin HO scale (1:87) electric model train starter set, model number 29538. The set features a die-cast metal Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) Class 86 steam tank locomotive, road number 86 582, in a traditional black and red livery. The engine is equipped with a Delta electronic circuit for multi-train operation and features Telex remote-controlled couplers and operational headlights. The rolling stock consists of five cars: two red passenger coaches, one blue Aral tanker car, one brown DB boxcar, and one brown stake car. The track system is Märklin C-Track, featuring integrated plastic roadbeds and metal rails. The track assortment includes 14 curved sections (24130), 18 straight sections (9 each of 24188 and 24172), and two curved turnout switches (24671 and 24672). Electrical components include a 52 VA power transformer (110V/60Hz) and a Delta Control 4 f unit. Visible markings include the Märklin logo on the box and transformer, the DB logo on the locomotive and boxcar, and the Aral logo on the tanker. The side of the box indicates the set was made in Hungary. Original instructional literature and manuals are present within the box.
