Description
This is a vintage HO scale electric model train set manufactured by the American Train and Track Corp. (ATT), based in New York, NY. The set features a replica of George Stephenson’s The Rocket early steam locomotive. The locomotive and rolling stock are primarily constructed of molded plastic with metal wheels and axles. The track consists of metal rails on plastic ties. The set includes one yellow steam locomotive, one yellow tender car, and three yellow passenger coaches lettered LIVERPOOL DESPATCH MANCHESTER. Also included are two small hand-painted figures representing an engineer and a stoker, eight sections of curved track, and an ATT Powerpack Model No. 1. The power pack label indicates an input of 118V 60 CY and output of AC 17.5V and DC 16.5V, marked as made in the U.S.A. at 200 Fifth Ave, New York, N.Y. 10010. The set is housed in its original packaging, which includes a blue and white outer sleeve and an inner display tray with a molded brown plastic base featuring a wood-grain texture.
