Description
This collection features vintage HO/OO scale model railway accessories manufactured by Kibri (Kindler and Briel) of Boeblingen, West Germany. The group includes #815 two-story signal box constructed of molded plastic with a red brick-textured base and yellow wood-textured upper level. It is detailed with an external black staircase, railings, a roof antenna, and a white sign reading Marbach (Neckar). Also included is a #0/82/1 gantry crane made of lithographed tinplate featuring a blue-grey finish with red detailing along the upper track. The crane incorporates a manually operated winch mechanism with a cord and a brass-toned metal hook, supported by two lattice pillars on rectangular grey bases. A small outhouse-style W.C. building, also of lithographed tinplate construction, features yellow walls and a red roof with black W.C. lettering above the door. Accompanying the models are two pieces of ephemera: a Kibri Railway Accessories catalog booklet and a 60th-anniversary promotional card depicting a modernist railway station, bearing the Kindler and Briel company name and address.
