Description
This collection consists of ten vintage O-gauge model train freight rolling stock items of French manufacture. The set is constructed die-cast components. The assortment includes various freight wagons primarily representing the SNCF (Societe Nationale des Chemins de fer Francais). There are four boxcars, including two reddish-brown and two olive green versions, all featuring white-painted roofs and the literal markings FRANCE, SNCF, and a boxed 2. The three tanker cars consist of two yellow tankers marked SHELL and STE DES PETROLES JUPITER #6690, 42 RUE WASHINGTON, PARIS, and one red double-barrel wagon with plates reading VINS & ALCOOLS, #6680. The three open gondola wagons #6991 include two in a reddish-brown finish and one in olive green featuring an integrated brakeman’s cabin at one end. Each piece is equipped with metal couplings and axled wheels.
