Lot 181:
Description
This two-story miniature architectural model is attributed to Rudolf Spitaler. The house is constructed from composition and cardboard materials with a textured stucco finish applied to the exterior walls. The structure features a hipped roof painted in a textured red finish with a single square chimney. The upper story is painted a light green, while the lower story and the integrated corner terrace section are finished in a light tan. The model includes multiple inset windows with white muntins and brown-painted shutters, each decorated with a window box containing colorful dried lichen to simulate flowers. There are two visible doors: a main entrance on the lower level and a door providing access to the upper terrace. The entire assembly is mounted on a rectangular brown-painted base that is detailed with textured, sawdust-based flocking to simulate grass and earth. 1951
