Description
This Märklin HO scale model train starter set, number 29797, features the ICE 2 high-speed train of the Deutsche Bahn (DB). The set includes a three-unit train consisting of one powered end unit, road number 402 022-8, one intermediate passenger car, and one non-powered cab control car. The units are constructed with plastic bodies and metal chassis, finished in white with a red stripe and bearing DB logos and ICE lettering. The set is equipped with DELTA-Electronic for multi-train operation and includes a Märklin 52 VA transformer and a DELTA-Control 4f unit. A complete C-Track layout is included, consisting of curved sections 24130, straight sections 24188 and 24172, and two curved turnouts 24671 and 24672. Also present are the original instruction manual and promotional literature. Accompanying the starter set is a collection of six individually boxed Märklin passenger cars with the following model numbers: 43744, 43734, 43747 (two units), 43737, and 43714. Some wear to plastic on boxes
