The set includes a dark-painted streamlined locomotive (No. 616W power), two chrome-plated passenger coaches (No. 617), and a chrome-plated observation car with a dark end (No. 618). “LIONEL LINES” is visible on one car’s side. The set is accompanied by four original cardboard boxes: two labeled “No. 617 ‘O’ GAUGE COACH WITH NO. 616T VESTIBULE LIONEL”, one “No. 618 ‘O’ GAUGE OBSERVATION CAR WITH NO. 616T VESTIBULE LIONEL”, and a fourth worn box marked “616W”.
