G guage, Lehmann-Gross-Bahn (LGB) G-scale model railway items, known as ‘The Big Train’, primarily constructed from plastic and metal. The collection features a black 99 6001 steam locomotive (model 2080 S electronic), a yellow SCCX A10 “SHELL” tank car (model 4280), a yellow “WHITE PASS & YUKON” open-top car , and a brown ATSF 102121 “Santa Fe” hopper car (model 30260). Also included is the original packaging for a “QUEEN MARY SERIES” freight car (model 41760). Prominent markings on the items and packaging include “LGB, ” “LEHMANN, ” “LEHMANN-GROSS-BAHN The Big Train, ” “electronic, ” and “Made in W. Germany.” Text on the packaging, “For drinnen und draußen, ” translates to “For indoors and outdoors, ” indicating their intended use. 4 models are presented in their original red and green “LGB” branded boxes with clear display windows.
