Description
A Lionel Postwar 2271W GG1 O-gauge electric model train freight set. The rolling stock includes a dark green Pennsylvania 2360 electric locomotive, a red “U.S.STEEL” 6418 gondola, a blue “WABASH” 3424 boxcar, a red and yellow “AUTO-LOADER” 6414 flatcar complete with four plastic automobile loads, a brown “PENNSYLVANIA” 536417 caboose, and a white and brown “AUTOMATIC REFRIGERATED MILK CAR” 3662 boxcar, with platform. The trains are accompanied by numerous original Lionel cardboard boxes, along with an extensive array of paper ephemera including catalogs (e.g., “LIONEL TRAINS with MAGNE TRACTION”), “How to Operate” instruction manuals for various models (e.g., 2360 Electric Locomotives, 3662 Automatic Milk Car), service station directories dated 1956-1957, and other promotional materials.
