Description
A vintage Lionel 6827 P&H Harnischfeger Power Shovel Car set. The set comprises a black flatcar, marked “6827 LIONEL, ” carrying a yellow and black P&H (Harnischfeger) power shovel or excavator, marked “P&H” on the cab and boom. The set includes its original orange box (marked “No. 6827 LIONEL HARNISCHFEGER POWER SHOVEL CAR”), a smaller yellow box (marked “No. 6827 -100 LIONEL HARNISCHFEGER POWER SHOVEL”), a cardboard insert titled “P&H POWER SHOVEL the story of a trademark, ” and an “INSTRUCTIONS” sheet for the “LIONEL SCALE MODEL HARNISCHFEGER EXCAVATOR, ” all text in English. Loose, unassembled parts are also included in a clear plastic bag. The model components are constructed from molded plastic and metal.
