Description
A vintage Lionel Corporation No. 197-75 Radar Head, presented with its original corrugated cardboard box. The radar head features a gray rectangular grid antenna mounted on a black plastic or metal support structure with a vertical shaft. The front of the brown cardboard box is stamped in dark green with “No. 197-75”, “RADAR HEAD”, and “THE LIONEL CORPORATION, NEW YORK, N.Y.”. One side of the box includes a “CERTIFICATE OF BOX MAKER” from “ST. JOE PAPER CO.” in “HACKENSACK, N.J.”, detailing bursting test and size, along with the number “197-76”. A small, brass-toned cylindrical component is also included. Original box and inserts C8-9
