Description
A Lionel Postwar No. 56 M&St.L Mine Transport Switcher Locomotive, an electric toy train switcher locomotive, presented with its original cardboard packaging and accompanying instruction sheet. The locomotive features a red and white livery with a black undercarriage, a brass-toned bell, and a front light. The cab side is marked “M.S.& L. 56” and “MINE TRANSPORT”. It is constructed from painted metal and plastic. The orange and blue cardboard box prominently displays “LIONEL ELECTRIC TRAINS” and identifies the item as a “No. 56 SWITCHER” with a “MADE IN U.S. OF AMERICA” label.
