Description
Produced by Laurie Toys in Hong Kong, this Speed Bird friction-powered racing car is modeled after the 1964 Proteus Bluebird CN7 land speed record vehicle. The blue molded plastic body features a distinctive rear vertical fin, silver-toned intake grill, and silver engine louvers. Decorative Union Jack and United States flag decals are applied to the nose, and the item includes its original colorful illustrated cardboard packaging. These toys were made in Hong Kong in the 1960’s.
