This W Toys friction-drive racing car is constructed of bright red molded plastic with a detailed interior featuring a painted driver figure. Modeled after a 1954 Mercedes-Benz Formula 1 car, it includes an opening front hood revealing a silver-tone engine block and wire-style wheels. The item is accompanied by its original illustrated cardboard box marked with model number 5004 and the manufacturer’s logo. Friction Working, Opening bonnet. These toys were made in Hong Kong in the 1950’s.
