Description
This lot features a pair of pre-owned LEGO Star Wars building sets, including the original packaging and instruction manuals. The first set is Vader’s TIE Advanced vs. A-Wing Starfighter, set number 75150, which contains 702 pieces. This set is themed after the Star Wars Rebels series and includes depictions of four minifigures: Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, Sabine Wren, and an A-Wing Pilot. It is accompanied by its original box and two instruction booklets. The second set is the Homing Spider Droid, set number 75016, consisting of 295 pieces. This set includes depictions of four minifigures: Stass Allie, a Clone Trooper, and two Super Battle Droids. It includes the original box and one instruction manual. The pieces for set 75150 are contained in a clear plastic bag labeled 75150 1+2, and the pieces for set 75016 are contained in a clear plastic bag labeled 75016.
Condition report:
Both sets are pre-owned and have been opened. The original factory-sealed interior bags have been replaced with aftermarket clear plastic zip-style bags. The instruction manuals are present and show standard signs of handling. The original boxes exhibit various degrees of shelf wear: set 75150 shows significant creasing, blunted corners, and the presence of clear adhesive tape on several edges; set 75016 displays moderate edge scuffing and minor creasing. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
