Description

This lot features two boxed O-gauge model train sets produced by Williams Electric Trains and Lionel. The first set is a Williams Electric Trains Reading Madison Set, No. 2513, containing five passenger cars. The cars are named Railway Express Agency (baggage/combine), Mt. Carmel, Tamaqua, Shamokin, and Pottsville. These models are constructed with plastic bodies finished in a dark green livery with yellow-gold Reading Company lettering and stripes. Each car features interior silhouette figures visible in the windows, metal trucks and wheels, twin lighting, and fast-angle needle-point bearings. Wear to box

The second set is a Lionel Special Bicentennial Limited Edition GP-9 Bangor and Aroostook Diesel Engine and matching Caboose, model number 6-8665. The diesel locomotive is finished in a red, white, and blue livery with Jeremiah O’Brien and Spirit of 1776 markings. Technical features of the engine include a Pullmor motor, an operating headlight, an electronic e-unit with forward, neutral, and reverse functions, die-cast trucks, and a metal chassis. The matching porthole-style caboose is marked Spirit of 1776 and Bangor and Aroostook, featuring interior illumination, metal wheels, and operating knuckle couplers. The set is housed in its original window display box.
