Description
This is a vintage HO scale model electric locomotive manufactured by Märklin (Gebr. Märklin & Cie. GmbH) in Göppingen, Germany. The model, designated as 3019 (and also referenced as 3018 in the included literature), is a representation of a Class Da locomotive of the Swedish State Railways (Statens Järnvägar – SJ). The locomotive features a die-cast metal body finished in dark green with a silver-painted roof and red-painted buffer beams. Centered on the side of the body is an oval plaque bearing the number 884 and the text Statens Järnvägar. The roof is detailed with two functional, folding metal pantographs and molded insulators. The undercarriage features six black driving wheels with silver-toned connecting rods and two smaller pilot wheels. The lot includes the original or period-correct multi-page instruction manual/booklet, which displays the Märklin logo and the model numbers 3018 and 3019.
