Description
This is a Marklin H0 scale digital model train set, item number 26610, representing the Henschel-Wegmann-Zug. Manufactured by Gebr. Marklin and Cie. GmbH in Goeppingen, Germany, this set was issued in 2005 as an exclusive model for Marklin Insider members. The set features a streamlined Baureihe 61 (Class 61) tank locomotive and a matching group of four streamlined passenger cars. The models are constructed from die-cast metal and high-quality plastic components. The locomotive is equipped with the Marklin digital H0 system, featuring an mfx decoder and integrated sound functions. The set is housed in its original two-piece gray cardboard box with a custom-fitted polystyrene foam interior tray. Included documentation consists of a Certificate of Authenticity dated August 2005, an instruction manual for the Baureihe 61 model, a multi-language warranty booklet, and various original informational paper inserts. Markings on the packaging and documentation include the Marklin logo, digital H0, mfx, and the item number 26610. The certificate bears the printed signatures of the manufacturer’s representatives.
