Description
Three Lionel Postwar O Gauge 2344 New York Central F3 Diesel Units, comprising two “A” units and one “B” unit. Each locomotive features a dark gray/black “New York Central” livery accented with silver/white stripes. The units are marked “NEW YORK CENTRAL”, “BUILT BY LIONEL GM”, and bear the number “2344” with a “CENTRAL SYSTEM” logo on the front of the “A” units, and a stylized “Z” on the sides. The lot includes the original worn cardboard packaging, with the main box marked “No. 2344 ‘O’ Gauge TWIN DIESEL LIONEL TRAINS with MAGNE-TRACTION (PAT. PEND.)” and “THE LIONEL CORPORATION NEW YORK Made in U. S. of America CHICAGO”. Individual boxes are labeled “2344T”, “2344C”, and “2344P”, C7-8.
